BFF K’s Review of Out of Bounds

Grab a spotter, tape-up your damaged bits and prepare your heart and mind for a WILD ride! The Summer Games: Out of Bounds is one wild and crazy adventure!
Brie and Erik are like oil and water, but only if oil and water virtually exploded from sexual tension. Maybe it’s not so much oil and water, but oil and vinegar….on the surface you wouldn’t think they work, but if you shake things up just enough, you find they’re the perfect compliment to one another. Erik and Brie are that perfect combo that work so much better together than apart. But, it is almost painful getting to the final blend.
Out of Bounds delivers an emotional punch. The angst, tension and back and forth are anxiety inducing. There were times that I wanted to slap both Erik and Brie. They’re damaged souls in a high pressure arena, struggling to identify their feelings and work through an attraction and pull that a Coach probably shouldn’t have for his Star Athlete!
Out of Bounds is not the light and breezy fare that R.S. Grey does so well. It is SUPER steamy, (there’s one Yoga scene that will knock your socks off) and more erotic than her other books. But, the great story lines, interesting characters and witty banter that you expect are all still there. Be prepared for an emotional workout, but be sure to vault this book to the top of your to be read list!
