About Screwed:

I’m young, fit, attractive, and loaded. Not to mention I’m packing a sizable bulge below the belt. It’s a combination that drops panties on a regular basis.

Yay, me, right?

But my cock, troublemaker that he is, has been confined to my trousers by my business partner. A concession I agreed to, and one that’s never been hard to enforce until Emery moves in across the hall. She’s smart, young, determined, and sexy as hell. I want a taste. I won’t stop until I’m buried deep inside the succulent new-in-town brunette.

After being warned about my past, she does her best to steer clear, but I’m about to show her that underneath it all, I’m a guy with a heart of gold and a cock of steel.

My name is Hayden Oliver, and this is my story.

About Monster Prick:

Over my dead body.

That’s what I told Gracie when she informed me of her plan to pick some random guy she met online to get rid of her pesky virginity.

If anyone is touching her, it’s going to be me.

I shouldn’t even be considering it, but I can’t get it out of my head: her, under me, begging me.

***

Arrogant. Cocky. Prick.

Those are the words I’d use to describe my older brother’s dangerously handsome best friend.

When he learned of my plan to kick off my white cotton briefs, ditching my good girl persona once and for all by losing my virginity to the first eligible bachelor I could find, he flipped out. Said over his dead body.

He says if anyone’s going to do it, it’s going to be him.

I hate that I’m even considering his offer.

But I am … I sooo am.

Ever since he suggested it, all I can think about is his cocky smile on those full lips as he’s driving in to me.

But if we cross that line … will I ever be able to go back?

MONSTER PRICK, a sexy romantic comedy, is a spin off novella from SCREWED, but can be read as a standalone, as it features a new couple.

About the Author

Collette West grew up as somewhat of a jock-nerd hybrid. Entering the world three weeks premature, her dad nearly missed her birth because he had seats behind the dugout for a sold-out, highly-anticipated match-up between two of baseball’s biggest rivals. Not to be outdone, her book-loving mom taught her how to read by the time she was three. A love of the game coupled with an appreciation for the written word were instilled in Collette’s impressionable brain from a young age. No wonder her characters believe in the philosophy: sports + romance = a little slice of heaven.

Splitting her time between the Pocono Mountains and Manhattan, Collette indulges her inner fangirl by going to as many games as she can from hockey to baseball and downloading every sports romance novel in existence onto her iPad. When she’s not clicking away on her laptop, she enjoys walking her dog in Central Park, satisfying her caffeine craving at the Starbucks on Broadway and keeping an eye out for Mr. Right. But above all, she loves dishing with her readers. Email her at collette_west@yahoo.com.

She is the author of the New York Kings series which includes: NIGHT GAMES, GAME CHANGER, GAME ON, PERFECT GAME, INSIDE GAME and GAME WINNER.

From debut author Helena Rac, a sassy, sexy comic tale of second-chance romance and the many uses of icing.

Tessa loves cupcakes. They’re tasty and comforting, and they’ve made her bakery a success. Men, on the other hand, are unreliable jerks who are bound to break her heart. Even if they’re hot enough to melt her frosting.

Tessa is smitten with Luke after a less than graceful encounter on the streets of Chicago, and fate keeps reuniting them. She’s certain he’d be delicious in bed, but there’s just one problem: Tessa’s sworn off long-distance romances, and Luke lives in London. Besides, he’s proven himself to be bad news. Although Tessa’s sexy stranger swears to set aside his player ways after she carries out sweet revenge, she’s far too smart to believe in happily-ever-afters. Luke will need to use every weapon in his arsenal – including a spatula or two – to convince Tessa they’re meant to be together.

Excerpt

“So, you’re looking forward to the week, then?” I ask expectantly, while the palm of my hand gently rubs the zipper-tight area of his pants. God, he’s so hard. I remind myself to not focus too much on what exactly I’m doing. Except thanks to the way his cock twitches ever so slightly every time I rub, I have trouble putting together a coherent thought. My thoughts are like a broken record, stuck on repeat. Giant cock … giant cock … giant cock…

“Very much so,” he replies, the “so” stretching into a hissing sound. His eyes connect with mine, and I see the intensity that’s behind them. It’s like he’s thinking of not only what I’m doing to him right now, but also what he did to me in the movie theater. And, perhaps, what he’d like to do to me again? Yes please. What? No no no. Focus.

His gaze is intimidating, nonetheless. It’s as if he’s undressing me with his stare. I suddenly feel exposed, flushed. I squeeze my thighs in response as warm tension builds deep in my belly. I’m reminded of the way his fingers made me feel, and I long for them to make me feel that way right now.

Stirred by the thoughts that are heightening my arousal, I up the intensity and massage the firmness in his pants. He grows harder as he pulsates beneath my palm. I’m rewarded with a low growl, one that is audible only to me, given the buzz of the voices around us. God, that sound is so sexy. I need more of it; I want more of it. I want it loud.

I can’t even remember what I asked or where our conversation was, I’m so caught up in our game. I’ve forgotten what the point of Step Three was to begin with. But a sudden laugh from the table brings me back from the land of giant cock. I take a quick look around and am glad to see that everyone is immersed in their chatter and not focused on us. Thank god. That was too close, and I’ve got a plan to stick to.

“To things to look forward to, then!” I pull my hand away and take a sip of wine to hide the fact that my cheeks are blushing from the little preview that just played out so flawlessly. Luke stares at me with a stunned, almost pained expression on his face, like he’s confused and not quite ready for our game to end. Oh, the game has just begun, Mr. Callaghan.

Pageflex Persona [document: PRS0000038_00074]There were two things Emmit Lewis loved.

Racing cars and Adaline Morgan.

Time was stolen from the two young lovers and Emmit vowed never again would he allow anything to come between the two of them.

Blurred lines both on and off the track have Emmit being tested beyond his limits. Will he reach the checkered flag and ignite Adaline’s heart, or will he be black-flagged and lose everything he has ever dreamed of?

AMAZON *** iBooks *** B&N *** KOBO

Excerpt

The last time I stood in victory circle, Emmit had won his first NASCAR race and he had searched the crowd for me. This time, he went straight to the camera and began talking as he took small sips of something someone put in his hand. Robert reached over and changed out Emmit’s baseball cap to another sponsor’s hat.

My lower stomach tightened as I watched Emmit’s every move. His sweat-soaked hair peeking out from under the baseball cap lit a fire in my body that I tried desperately to ignore. Bastard.

I wanted to be angry with him, but I couldn’t. “He’s so damn good looking. What I wouldn’t do to spend just one hour in his bed,” some girl behind me said. Turning, I gave her a fake smile. “Tell me you don’t agree,” she said to me. With a smirk, I said, “I’ve graced his bed plenty of times.” With a huge smile, she said, “Lucky bitch.” I rolled my eyes as I pushed all thoughts of Emmit and my horny body away.

The freedom of not feeling the need to have Emmit’s hands all over my body lasted for a whole minute. Once his gray eyes found mind, I held onto my breath.

There was so much more to Emmit than how he made my body feel during sex. One of my favorite things he ever did was place his hand on my lower back as he guided me through a room. Or, to a table for two in the corner of a romantic restaurant. Oh, yes … there was so much more to him.

Giving me a smile, Emmit said something else to the reporter and then nodded his head and turned to his team as they continued to celebrate. Daddy had gone up and given Emmit a quick hug and said something to him that caused Emmit to let out a laugh and agree with whatever Daddy said.

Emmit took the champagne and shook it up as he sprayed everyone. Security had allowed Ashley to go up to Emmit. He pulled her into his arms and hugged her for a good thirty seconds before pulling back and kissing the tip of her nose.

My heart dropped as I thought about how much I wished that had been me. I started making my way through the crowd. Glancing back over my shoulder, I watched as Emmit posed for pictures and continued to celebrate his win. Turning back to the front, I wondered if he would even notice I had left.

From the USA TODAY bestselling author of Unteachable and Black Iris comes a new, sexy romantic suspense novel about two best friends who are torn apart by a life-shattering accident…and the secrets left behind.

Vada Bergen is broke, the black sheep of her family, and moving a thousand miles away from home for grad school, but she’s got the two things she loves most: her art and her best friend—and sometimes more—Ellis Carraway. Until an accident on an icy winter road changes everything.

Vada is left deeply scarred, both emotionally and physically. Her once-promising art career is cut short. And Ellis pulls away, unwilling to talk about that night. Everything Vada loved is gone.

She’s got nothing left to lose.

So when she meets some smooth-talking entrepreneurs who offer to set her up as a cam girl, she can’t say no. All Vada has to do is spend a couple hours each night stripping on webcam, and the “tips” come pouring in.

It’s just a kinky escape from reality until a client gets serious. “Blue” is mysterious, alluring, and more interested in Vada’s life than her body. Online, they chat intimately. Blue helps her heal. And he pays well, but he wants her all to himself. No more cam shows. It’s an easy decision: she’s starting to fall for him. But the steamier it gets, the more she craves the real man behind the keyboard. So Vada pops the question:

Can we meet IRL?

Blue agrees, on one condition. A condition that will bring back a ghost from her past.

Now Vada must confront what she’s been running from. A past full of devastating secrets—those of others and those she’s been keeping from herself…

What if the brooding billionaire wore pencil skirts and Louboutins? What if the impressionable intern was a small-town furniture maker with boyish charm?

Cole Jacobson always thought he would take after his father and pursue his dreams. But when the family business falters and he’s forced to accept his uncle’s help, Cole is summoned to the big city for a job he never wanted.

Priorities become obscured when Cole finds himself working for Shaun Wright, the strong, intimidating, and ruthlessly attractive business partner at his uncle’s contracting firm. Forced to either sacrifice his hard-won integrity or leave behind the one thing that brings him true happiness, Cole must make a decision that could cost him both. Excerpt

They stepped onto the elevator, just the two of them, but she pressed twelve instead of six. Were they back at square one, where she retreated to her office in the sky instead of dealing with her feelings head on? Too bad for her, Cole thought to himself. There was too much at stake for him. More than she could even fathom. He needed to make a decision about his uncle’s ultimatum, and the clock was running out. The fate of his father’s business still hung in the balance, dependent upon his next move. Shaun’d basically said she was done with Olivia, and the way she had stared at him when she didn’t think he’d notice had set his body ablaze. Frustrated, rejected, and somewhat inebriated, Cole slammed his fist against the emergency stop button and the car jerked to a halt.

“What the–?” Shaun exclaimed as the scream of the buzzer bounced around the four walls. Cole stepped toward her while she inched back. “Are you drunk?”

He attempted to shake off the beer fog slowly swallowing his brain whole. “Maybe.” He would let Shaun make up his mind. If she turned him down right here, right now, then he’d be free and clear. He’d report back to Robert that she wasn’t interested and that he’d need to employ another stud-for-hire. But what if she didn’t? Cole thought as he ceased his forward progression.

Not an inch of space remained between them. He searched her eyes, ears honed in on her rapid breathing, which he could hear even over the thundering of his own pulse and the buzzing of the elevator. “In the stairwell, you saw me, didn’t you? You saw me before I dropped my file, and you liked it.” He didn’t know where the sudden surge of courage had come from. The beer? The shitty position his uncle had cornered him into? Shaun continued to stare in silence. “So is it just women for you now, Shaun? Is that why you can’t address the idea of going out with me?”

“I… We…” She flattened her palms against his chest, but didn’t push him away. A sign to keep going? He half wondered if she could feel the thump of his heart against his ribcage or the spike in his body temperature. She was so beautiful this close. He’d failed to notice the light dusting of freckles across the bridge of her nose or the tiny scar above her left eyebrow until now. The scent of her perfume acted as a hallucinogen when mixed with the glorious vision before him. He leaned down, mouth almost brushing over hers.

“Shaun,” he breathed.

With a second jerk, the elevator started moving again. Cole glanced down, finding Shaun’s finger on the emergency button. Her action was answer enough. He backed away to the opposite side of the car and poked at the button for six.

When the car stopped, he glanced over his shoulder at her. She hadn’t moved. Didn’t that make him feel even more like an asshole.

“Don’t worry, Ms. Wright. It’s just business between you and me from now on. I promise.” He stepped out, leaving Shaun to continue her ascent to the twelfth floor alone. He was tired of looking like a world-class idiot, hard up on his boss and her mind-scrambling skirts. He’d really thought something had passed between them at lunch, but no. Maybe the pressure from his uncle was starting to fuck with his brain.

“Mr. Jacobson.”

Cole stopped and turned around. Shaun stood just outside of the elevator, one arm stretched out to keep the doors from closing. Her expression gave nothing away, but he could see her swallow, as if she were preparing herself for something. She cleared her throat and proceeded in a voice that lacked the confidence he’d come to associate with her.

“I’m not sure that will be enough.” Without another word, she stepped back into the elevator and disappeared.

“Don’t make that face around me. People will think I died,” Neve said, her beautiful green eyes opened slightly, her voice scratchy, little more than a whisper. She winced when she swallowed. “Water.”

He lifted the cup from her bedside table, elevated the head of her hospital bed, and guided the straw to her mouth. So many of his friends had died, but not Neve, thank God. “Nate ran out for coffee.”

“What day is it?” she asked, her voice a little stronger.

“Monday.”

She went to move her arm with the IV in it and winced. Then she lifted her other hand and rubbed her face. “I’ve been out of it for two whole days.”

Rory nodded. “Pretty much.”

As if just realizing something, she went still, then looked up at him with a questioning look: “Why are you still here?”

Because Neve had become such an integral part of his life, during such a difficult time in his life, and he didn’t want to lose her over some misunderstanding. She’d become his best female friend. He appreciated her perspective on things, valued her opinion, and enjoyed their interactions, especially the very intimate sharing of naughty letters and sexual likes and dislikes. He could talk to her about anything. And as much as he didn’t want to lose a friendship that had become very special to him, he also wanted more of what had happened between them in the storeroom of his parents’ pub. And he couldn’t stop thinking about it, couldn’t stop thinking about her.

They needed time to talk so they could move past Mary, who was not now and had never been his fiancée, so they could figure out what happened next, where they fit into each other’s lives now that he’d returned home for good. And they couldn’t very well work all that out until she woke up.

But he didn’t tell her any of those things. Instead he decided he’d much rather get a rise out of her, spark some life back into her, so he leaned in close, stared directly into her sleepy eyes, and whispered back, “You promised next time I could have you naked in a bed and take all the time I want.” He leaned in closer, almost to her ear, hating the stink of bleached hospital sheets and sickness, wishing she smelled of the enticing perfume she’d used to scent her erotically charged letters. “And here you are, in a bed, wearing nothing but a flimsy gown, which is close enough to naked for me. Now that you’re up, whaddya say we get to it?”

“Really, Rory.” She let out an annoyed huff. “Propositioning a woman in the hospital, hoping she’s so delirious with fever she’ll agree to have sex with you, is the sign of a truly pathetic, desperate man.”

Not just any woman. He turned his head so she wouldn’t see his smile, so happy to have her back. “I can wait until your fever comes down.” He pulled over the chair he’d been sitting in, lowered himself into it, and put his feet up on the foot of her bed. “It’s the gentlemanly thing to do. Besides, I’m in no rush.”

Lust and love fought for dominance in his expression when he tore himself away, and he slammed my door shut and ran around to his side. I didn’t hesitate to shift in my seat, my hand going to the flat, rigid planes of his abdomen as he shifted hard, tires squealing as he took to the street. I kissed at his neck and teased at his ear, fingers toying with the waistband of his jeans, while he groaned and tried to focus on the road.

“You tryin’ to kill me, Shea?”

I gasped when the car jerked and Sebastian made a sudden, sharp turn, and then another. He screeched to a stop on a deserted side street.

A fog of lust clouded my mind as I was yanked back onto his lap, my knees on either side of his legs, his needy cock grinding at the seam of my cut-off shorts as his mouth overtook mine.

Oh. God.

I moaned, fingers digging into his shoulders.

I arched up and pressed my breasts to his chest. They ached with just a glimmer of the need throbbing between my thighs.

Hot hands gripped the outside of my hips, forcing me back down on his dick that strained from his jeans.

I might have been on top, but he was definitely in control.

“Fuck, baby…what have you done to me…what have you done to me? Dying to be inside you. Have to feel you. Need you so bad.”

“You have me.”

and, with their encouragement, this story became her first full length novel. A.L. now spends her days writing in Southern Arizona where she lives with her husband and three children.

Preserving his family’s baseball legacy in these tough times takes everything he’s got, and constant clashes with his father have left him struggling for authority over the team and even his own future. So when sports reporter Willow Bourne, a one-night-stand from a year ago, walks back into his life, he knows he can’t give into his feelings for her—no matter how strong they are. Willow never expected to see Paul again, and she’s got her reasons for keeping her distance. Except the more time she spends around Paul, the harder it is to hide her secrets—or stop herself from falling head over heels. As the sparks between them fly, Paul discovers what Willow has been concealing from him, leaving him with a difficult choice—keep the team his top priority or make his own legacy by following his heart…

Excerpt

Willow is down on her luck. She’s recently lost her job and boyfriend all in one go. Her friend Kendra takes her to a club in St. Pete, Florida, to cheer her up:

“Come on. My treat.” Kendra squeezed her hand. “You need a pick-me-up.”

“Not sure a twelve-dollar cocktail is going to solve my problems, but thanks for the thought.”

“Come on, hon. Give yourself a chance to cheer up.” Kendra led the way through the crowd.

The two women got plenty of looks as they moved through the nightclub. Usually, leers from guys she didn’t know creeped Willow out, but not tonight. Tonight, they were a boost to her badly battered ego.

They entered a long hallway with large leather-lined booths separated by wispy white curtains. Crimson velvet wallpaper lit with colored lights made for a trippy effect.

“We’re in the booth at the end,” Kendra said.

The two slid into the booth and Willow scanned the drink menu. “Ten bucks for something called a Sazerac?” She couldn’t afford this place. Not that she could afford any place, considering that she had lost her job and was living on savings, unemployment checks, and an occasional assist from her parents. Whee! She was twenty-five and on top of the world.

“Don’t get it. It tastes like lighter fluid with sugar in it.”

She wrinkled her nose. “Duly noted.”

A loud yell from the booth across the hall caught her attention. A raucous group of guys, young and mostly good-looking, was flirting with their waitress. Without meaning to, Willow caught the gaze of one of the guys: Quiet. A little older than the rest. An island of intensity amid the liquored-up party people.

He has nice eyes.

She didn’t want to notice anything about a guy right now, but his eyes asked to be admired. They were equal parts gray and blue, bearing an expression she recognized because her face had worn it so often recently. The stranger wore the look of someone trying to hide something—but what? Sadness? No, more like discontent. He wasn’t doing a very good job of it.

She ordered a beer and drank half of it before she had the courage to let her eyes wander in the man’s direction again.

He was still watching her.

Her stomach tightened, but she couldn’t have said whether from excitement or unease. She raised a brow, determined not to look away this time. His lips curved, and the sight took her breath away. He didn’t smile easily, she could tell. It looked like a reluctant one at best, but it lightened the shadow in his eyes.

The easy feeling lasted until he rose and walked toward her. Her pulse erupted.

Get ahold of yourself. He’s a guy in a bar. What’s he going to do to you?

He walked right up, never glancing at Kendra, only at her.

“Hi.”

“Hi.” Her voice came out calmer than she felt, thank God.

“Can I buy you a drink?”

A standard line she’d heard a hundred times. So why did it send a shiver of anticipation down the back of her neck when he said it?

She gestured to her beer. “Got one already.”

“I see.” He nodded, not letting that half-quirk of a smile disappear. “Then, in that case, I have no choice but to ask you to dance.”
